The combination of 30º flank angle / metric thread pitch leaves a geometrical reinforced thread flank in the aluminium. The larger thread tooth in the aluminium compensates the weaker material strength compare to steel screws. The result is a typical 10.9 class screw joint plus the advantages of thread forming like no drilling, thread-cutting and no need for locking patches or special washers in order to make the screw joint dynamical save. |
