EJOT anchors for prefabricated ETICS with clinker

External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems open a multitude of optical design scopes to significantly improve energy efficiency and outlook at the same time when renovating a facade. Besides different renderings and colourings, ceramic claddings have become increasingly popular.

Due to the significantly higher mass per unit area, clinker-built ETICS are generally anchored.

ETICS with facing clinker that is already glued on the insulation board usually allow for a purely mechanical fastening with special countersunk anchors directly to the facade. The holes are almost invisible at the joint pattern.

If the ceramic cladding is glued on after the anchoring, either completely or in parts, it is recommendable to use ejotherm plate anchors. When using the cap anchor ejotherm STR U with cap, an advantageous decoupling of the facing clinker from the anchor plates is achieved.
