EJOT is certified partner for sustainable building

Environmental protection and conservation of resources are some of the most important future tasks. Topics such as energy saving, resource conservation, sustainability and protection of the environment are also becoming the focus of the German building and real estate industry. This in turn leads to a ranking of buildings under ecological aspects as for example energy efficiency and resource consumption. In particular public awarding authorities include these criteria into their contracts.

We, as a leading company in the field of ETICS fasteners, have responded to these requirements. The first environmental product declaration (EPD) for anchor manufacturers was obtained by EJOT and we can now present a comprehensive and complete record for the sustainability and the balance of environmental influences of our products.

Two further fields in the segment of fastening technology, anchors and fasteners of the product groups rear ventilated facades and flat roof, received EPD's during the exhibition BAU 2011.

With the already available EPD for the ETICS anchors EJOT documents another step towards the consequent development of EPD's for the complete product range.
