EJOT Building Fasteners – over 30 years of specialist knowledge around the building envelope

The German EJOT group is divided into three divisions: Industrial Fasteners, Engineered Plastic Components, and Building Fasteners. Customers primarily come from the automotive, electro/electronic and building industry.

The company was founded in 1922. Today, EJOT subsidiaries are on site in 27 countries. EJOT employs 2064 staff and achieved a group turnover of €236 m in 2009. 53% of the turnover is generated abroad – with an upward trend.

The division Building Fasteners bundles EJOT competency regarding fastening solutions around the building envelope of more than three decades. Under this roof the following business units are united:

• Industrial Lightweight Construction (ILB): high-quality fastening elements for fastening profiled sheets and sandwich panels in industrial lightweight construction

• External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (WDVS): special anchors for fastening insulating materials in systems for external wall insulation

• Rear Ventilated Facades (VHF): screws and anchors for fastening of base structures and facade coverings of rear ventilated systems

• Flat Roofing (FLD): fasteners and installation tools for rational fastening of insulation materials and roof sealings on flat roofs and slightly sloped roofs

• Industrial Window and Facades Technique (IFF): Application specific fasteners for UPVCwindow and door manufacturing and aluminium/glass curtain wall systems.

• Fastening Systems for Solar Installations: For fastening uprights for solar and photovoltaic installations.
